A short animation from Glasgow-trained artist David Shrigley, which was originally created in 2006.
Shrigley, whose artwork encompasses sculpture and photography, is known for his simply-rendered characters, many of which have been animated.
His comic eye has come to the stage in the operatic production Pass The Spoon, set in the world of a television cookery programme and featuring characters including a depressive egg and a host of vegetables and cutlery.
Pass the Spoon was performed at London’s South Bank Centre and streamed live on The Space in May. You can watch a recording of the performance here.
