Comedian, marathon-runner and London 2012 Ambassador Eddie Izzard delivered the de Coubertin Lecture at Toynbee Studios, in London’s East End on Thursday July 19th and streamed live on The Space. Izzard offered his very own take on the three pillars of Olympism – sport, culture and education, speaking in English and French.

He also provided a sneak preview of the last minute preparations for the greatest show on earth, on his way to deliver the lecture. You can watch Izzard running round the Olympic Park here.
