OverWorlds & UnderWorlds – three days of dance, film, music and installations created in May 2012 for Leeds Canvas by artists led by the film makers The Brothers Quay as part of the UK Arts Councils’ Artists Taking the Lead, one of the major projects for the London 2012 Olympiad. The festival was streamed live on The Space.

OverWorlds and UnderWorlds was the first collaboration between the Leeds Canvas partners Yorkshire Dance, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Opera North, Northern Ballet, Leeds Met Gallery & Studio Theatre, Leeds City Council and Leeds Museums & Galleries.
