The New Radiophonic Workshop
The trail-blazing Radiophonic Workshop was best known for creating the Doctor Who theme out of electronic sounds, and over 40 years composed innovative soundworlds for BBC radio and television. It has been reborn as the New Radiophonic Workshop, and its first project is to make the Sound of The Space.
The Sound of The Space is made up of the audio associated with the last 25 projects published on The Space website, which you switch on with the button at the top of the page. You can listen to the sound of individual projects by hovering over them.
